the 280zx all got the F54 block, the 7980 got the lower comrpession dished pistons wiht the high low compression P79 head aso with sleaved exhaust runners, these were around 801 IIRC the 81 n/a gto flat top pistons in the same F54 block with the same P79 head, these were arounf 901 IIRC int he F54 only every other cylinder is siameased it depends on your CPU and the quality of the radiator Gamers nexus just did a video where a 240 outperformed a 280mm radiator so there are more factors than just size however, If your case can fit a 280, the 280 doesn't cost too much more, and you're using a very hot CPU then i would go with the 280 The 240Z came standard with a 24L inline six, with a four speed manual transmission The 240Z also came standard with fully independent suspension front and rear This was very different from the standard US sports car which was solid rear axle 280Z Fast forwards to 1975 and Datsun is making the 280Z The 280Z featured a larger 28L engine
